Coronavirus virus has been worrying everyone as it has been spreading throughout the world at an alarming rate. As of March 11th, the World Health Organization officially classififed as a pandemic.
This is a situation that is new to everyone as we have not seen a pandemic of this magnitude in roughly a hundred years. The country is essentially shutting down, and nearly everyone is experiencing anxiety during these uncertain times.
Universities are beginning to send students home. Restaurants are starting to only offer curbside services. Nonessential stores are closing their doors. Stay-at-home orders are being put into place.
The country is officially in a state of emergency, and nobody knows are to react. Toilet paper is being hoarded, people are panic buying in bulk, and people are price gouging.
There is no way to accurately predict how long this pandemic will last, or the lasting effects that is going to take on the economy.
These are uncertain times that are new to essentially everybody that is alive, and the truly unnerving part is that we don’t know how long this will last.
What we do know is that are children will learn about this in their history class.
